How to care for your silver jewellery?

Always remove your silver jewellery before showering, exercising, carrying out household chores or swimming. Cosmetics or perfumes should be applied in advance of wearing your silver jewellery. Silver tarnishes when it reacts with water and moisture in the air and reacts adversely to chemicals, cosmetics and soap.
Store all silver jewellery in a clean, dry place away from direct sun exposure and other atmospheric elements. To store, you can wrap it in a butter paper or a muslin cloth or even a tissue paper and put it in a Ziploc or an airtight container. Never put a moist piece of jewellery back in its place as it can cause the jewellery to tarnish. Always wipe it carefully before you put it back.
Enamelled jewellery is hand-painted jewellery. Ensure that the enamelled charms are separated from one another to avoid rubbing and scratching as it can cause the enamel crack, chip or even break.
The lesser it comes in contact with water / moisture, the longer your jewellery will look new.
Always keep two pieces of jewellery separately in different pouches to avoid scratching or damage to enamel.
